Samana is a peninsula in the Northeast Region of the Dominican Republic, boasting a mix of virgin beaches and lush mountain forests. An hour-long bus ride that winds between the oriental mountain range and the Samana Bay takes us from Punta Cana to the sleepy fishing village of Miches. From here we board our catamaran and cross the Bay to the Samana Peninsula.
Safari Truck:
From the Samana docks, you board our Open-Air Safari Truck and we wind our way into Samana’s mountainous countryside to a typical ranch. Experience and taste the region’s colorful local produce: coconut, coffee, cocoa, mango, pineapple, sweet potato, banana, papaya, passion fruit and mamajuana
